Started NTUC UTP Service this whole week.. It was very very very slack. 9 Hours of CIP each day. But guess what? In this 9 hours, you only do work for at most 1-2 Hours.... Lalala..

The other times were just spent slacking, doing nothing, building sandcastles in the air, reading newspaper, sleeping, lying down, walking around CC and nearby shops, exploring the CC, sitting in the nearby exercise corner, resting, emo-ing (ops, i guess not...), and many more things that you can think off !!!

Sounds cool? Haha, that was how I spent the week...

Went for my first simulator training at SYFC on thursday. Did half of the internal checks on the simulator and learnt more about the aircraft systems. Haha, quite interesting....

Ok, going to continue watching my last 4 episodes of Smiling Pasta ---> finishing soon ! =)

Went to watch "Bee Movie" yesterday at The Grand Cathay...

Haha, dam funny and interesting. A starting quote from the movie:

"According to all known laws of aviation,
it is impossible that a bee can fly
with its huge body and tiny wings

However, the bees want to prove the humans wrong by making the impossible possible"

This quote from the movie is quite funny: "They make the honey, we make the money" Lalala... lol... talking about the perception of humans towards the bees who make honey.

Overall, I enjoyed the movie very much but don't know why it was only given a two and a half stars rating on Saturday's Newspaper (Life Section) (10/11/2007)

Haiz, never mind, you guys watch it if you have the time/want to...

Here's the poster for the movie:

Ok, going to start my service for NTUC Used Textbooks Project tomorrow at Yio Chu Kang CC,

Just finished watching these two movies:

Rob B Hood is a Hong Kong action-comedy film produced in 2006. Haha. Quite a nice and touching movie. The baby inside is very cute and there are numerous funny scenes on how the people handled the baby. Extremely funny !! Actors include 成龙 and 古天乐

I am sure everyone is quite familiar with this movie. It was shown on Singapore's screens not long ago. Haha, quite an interesting movie too. Filled with action, funny and touching scenes. I am sure everyone who had watched this movie would agree with me. Lol.. Anyway, a message from this movie: Everyone Can Cook !

Anyway, I am currently watching this Taiwan 偶像剧 -- 微笑Pasta (Aired in Taiwan from July to November 2006) ; Starring 张栋梁, 王心凌 and Gino (K One's leader). It is a romance plus comedy drama. Haha, just finished watching the 4th episode. (there are 17 episodes altogether). Will continue watching this nice drama in the next few days. Lol...

Smiling Pasta:

Haha, ok, got to go now,

Hi guys, I am finally back !! Sorry for not posting right after the O levels - I have been busy with other things after the O levels and thus did not have the time to blog. Shall talk about what I did for the past few days here:

31 October (O Level Higher Chinese):

Went into exam venue, everyone was revising Chinese. Some reading 好词好句,some reading范文,some reading 作文 points. The months, time and effort spent in preparing for this exam seemed to have paid off when one of the compo question was on the government giving money to encourage those hawkers to go for upgrading courses to improve on their hygiene, service standards, etc. However, I did not write this question cause I didn't read the newspaper articles and revise on the points. How sad can it be? Nevertheless, I wrote the question "才华比赛是很有意义的活动" Hope, can score well for this question. Afterall, only about 3-4 people in the class wrote this question so there will be 新鲜感 for the markers who read our compos. Haha =)

Paper 2 came shortly after a break. The paper was quite straight forward, most questions were manageable. This is where the fear lies. The easier the paper, the more difficult it is to get A1. After the exams, saw some 4J people in staffroom discussing answers on Paper 2. I bet all the Chinese teachers also went to discuss the answers for the paper for none of them could be seen in the staffroom. Went for ARE Interview at 3.00p.m. Interview pannel asked more of Roots and Shoots. Lol, so I discussed from there...

After the interview, saw 陈有庆老师 talking to some of the other students waiting to be interviewed so I decided to sit down and listen. He said the O Level Exam paper will never be difficult and last year when he marked the paper, a lot of people scored 20/20 for close passage. Then when they moderate, the A1 become 85... (So this was the fear that I mentioned earlier)

Oh well, how sad can it be?

1 November (Jane Goodall Talk @ Hwa Chong):

Jane Goodall came to Hwa Chong on 1 November for a talk and to get more local schools to join the Roots and Shoots community. So we were supposed to be ushers to usher people to the Auditorium. Her speech was mainly on her life experiences/stories and it was very interesting. She is now 73 years old and she travels around the world 300 days a year to give talks and to get more youths involved in this roots and shoots community. Her stories seemed like her life adventure, telling us what she did from a little girl, to studying chimps during her teenage and adult years and now travelling around the world to give talks. After the talk, Raphael went to send some RGS girls out and Raphael got their contacts lol... haha

2 November (Animal Parade @ Botanical Gardens):

Went for the Animal Parade at the Botanical Gardens with Lian Seng, Raphael, Zhou Quan, Teck Seng, Marcus and Hong Yao. We reached the wrong part of the Botanical Gardens and had to walk here and there to find the correct place. Finally, we waited at a place and the Stampede came. Lots of beautiful costumes haha. Took some pictures and Raphael was looking out for someone.... Lalala... After the parade, we walked all the way from Botanical Gardens to Serene Centre to eat our dinner at McDonalds. Lol, all of us were tired, cannot walk anymore already...

Ok, that's basically all the events that I am busy with for the past few days. I also did not have time to play MapleStory, how sad can it be? =( *sob*....

Just finished clearing my table cause it's stacked with Chinese notes. Filed these notes and guess how thick was my Chinese file (or files I would say)? Take a look:

But I must say 杨老师 has spent a lot of time and effort in preparing and giving us the notes to prepare us for the O Level Higher Chinese. Haha, 80% of the notes is by her and only 20% is from 王老师. See the contrast? 杨老师 taught us for only 2 months but 王老师 taught us for 8 months. If 杨老师 taught us for the whole year, I bet two of such files are not even enough for all of her notes. Maybe we can ask some 4N or 4O students to show us their files...

Haha, that's all,

Must enjoy my holidays now !

Cya,
Wei Pin
