4 days of the june holidays have passed.... roughly about more than 3 more weeks to go before school reopens. So far, I have only finished english comprehension 5 and handed in liao. Hah, but still got quite an amount of homework to finish...

Nothing much during the past few days. Morning play awhile, afternoon do some homework and play, evening go for PT, at night watch TV. Almost my daily routine liao.

Things aside, I was so happy when our team won the 1st for Youth Category in Startup. Whee so happy. But most of the team members not available so I guess when school reopens then we see how we can move from here. =)

Yup, I guess that's about all.

Stay healthy and study hard !
Good luck and all the best to those who are doing their projects !! May you succeed !

Best Wishes,

Yipee!!! The holidays are finally here. The various events are also over. I can finally take a good rest.

Roots & Shoots General Meeting on Tuesday was ok. Response was good. But a little bit of screw ups here and there. But never mind, we learn from our mistakes. The other schools were surprised by Hwa Chong's generosity to provide such delicious food for the meeting. =) Haha... But nevertheless, all of us did not manage to finish eating the food. In the end, have to get SLC people to finish up. Cool.... $300 plus worth of food for one meeting....

Wednesday's Geography Exam was killer. Woa, Ms Cheong's paper so difficult. Got a 6 mark then a 8 mark question. Argh! Sianz, never mind, over liao... The Rio Tinto Competition a bit easy. I think 70% of the questions can get correct one. So cool, then can get more ACE !!! =)

Thursday's chalet was dam fun. Reached there liao, first go arcade play Daytona with Hwa Pheng. Argh, I dio trashed! Sianz, then played Street Fighter. They say I jian use Storm then keep on spamming "Typhoon". Well, that's tactics. Haha... Then got BBQ. A few of us started the fire and continued cooking until about like 9.30p.m... Woa, so late liao, better go arcade play a few more rounds then come back watch "Get Unstuck In Time"... At 11.30p.m, we cut birthday cake for Yew Wei. Then they started watching movie, "Spiderman 3" and "Mr. Bean's Holiday". Watched until like 3a.m to 4a.m le. But I did not watch finish, slept like 70% of the time. Hah, tired mah.... Haiz, then nothing much le, slept throughout. Friday morning about 10a.m leave chalet le....

The light pollution talk was a blessing in disguise. In which, only 30 people turned up. Luckily only a small number turned up if not the star-gazing would last until like 11p.m or even 12 midnight already...

Startup Grand Finals on Saturday was ok. The judges were so humourous. Nevertheless, the whole group was confident that we will win top 4. Wheeee....

Over the weekend, the startup organizers spammed email about wednesday's prize presentation. So sianz, now got about like 5-6 emails from them liao...

Today woke up at 9.30a.m. Lol, continued playing neopets from yesterday. Actually after playing awhile also feel sianz diao liao leh. But never mind, got some time to blog.

Haha, actually now also nothing much cause playing and slacking whole day. Tomorrow going back to school to prepare for prize presentation. And hope on Wednesday we can get 1st prize then win liao !!! Whee !!!

That's all,
Slacking,

During the past week, I have been busily clearing all my school work and getting a good rest. There's a lot of school work to be cleared and the Roots & Shoots events are getting nearer and nearer.

Well, so that's the reason for me for not blogging during the past week. School is still the same, same teacher, same subjects, same work to do.

Left another one more week to school holidays. Whee!

Meanwhile, I have to gear up for the week:

Monday (Tomorrow): Preparation for Roots & Shoots General Meeting on Tuesday
Tuesday: Roots & Shoots General Meeting + Revise for Geography Exam
Wednesday: Rio Tinto Competition + Geography Exam
Thursday: Class Chalet at NSRCC (Evening till friday morning)
Friday: Star-Gazing Event.

Look at the number of "big" things happening. Argh! Shall endure with this before I really get a good rest during the holidays.

Enduring,
Wei Pin

The trip to Mongolia was definitely a fun one. The exact programme details of the camp I would not say as OB courses' programme details are confidential. You will only know the programme on the day itself.

Basically, to sum up:
1. New friends were made
2. It was a wonderful experience with the weather, terrain and people
3. Activities were challenging and required a lot of teamwork
4. Communication is very important
5. Go with a positive mind and everything will be fun.

Even though some might be bored by the activities during the first few days (rock climbing, building of gers, etc), you will definitely feel reluctant to leave the country on the last day. I don't know why this happens but it happens.

On the last day, you will be thinking of the times when all of us actually have fun and play together. There are so much wonderful memories and you will be reluctant to leave. This is exactly what I felt on the last day.

It was sad during the time when we had to leave base camp for Ulaan Baatar. The departure was very abrupt. We were rushing to pack our things, clean up a bit and then have lunch before boarding the van. Time did not permit us to take photos with some of the ADRA staff who had been so enthusiastic in their performance and hospitality in taking good care of us. It was definitely a sad moment when we had to part with them.

However, some ADRA staff were also at the airport sending us off during the last day. We bade good-bye to each staff individually and they wished us all the best. We will definitely remember them. Our final good-bye came when we were at the customs waiting for our passports to be stamped.

Soon, it was time to leave. The airplane departed from Mongolia...

We are keeping in touch with the Mongolians. Perhaps, next time I will go to Mongolia again. Maybe for a holiday or another adventure programme at Mongolia. Perhaps, during then, I might meet up with some of the Mongolian participants.

32 people, 1 OB Mongolia Champion:
There was...
One who missed his graduation day to attend this camp
One who nose-bled throughout this camp
One who had his heart broken during this camp
One who found his love during this camp
One who fell sick during this camp
.
.
.
.
the list just goes on. Everyone definitely has his/her own identity during this camp.

These memorable memories will never be forgotten...

Reluctantly,
Wei Pin

Woa, I am so excited now, going to leave for Mongolia soon. Hope I will have a fun time in Mongolia => Take it as a short break from the crazy tests that I had during the past week.

Today gave back a few tests => Physics, Chemistry Biology. Grades as follow: All As, shall not reveal exact grade.

Today's Chinese lesson dam slack, Madam Wang only gone through letter writing and say composition went through before already so don't need to go through. =.= Lalala...

Then here comes the Higher Chinese Common Test. The questions I supposed are quite ok bah. I chose Question 1 and Question 4. The 说明文 a bit tricky lor. Question very misleading, can write out of question easily. Moreover, must also write about 重要性 and 方法. So much things to write. Die man! Hope I can do well for the tests (including Geography today).

Haiz, shall not dwell on it too much liao. I must look forward to the upcoming, exciting OB Mongolia Camp!! Haha!

Ok, I think that's all for today. When I come back on the 14th, will try to post the daily happenings if I can remember. 11 Days altogether leh... Will try...

Thanks !

Sorry guys for not blogging for the past 5 days. Was too lazy to blog liao because too excited to go Mongolia for camp. xD.

Thursday:
Got biology SPA. Ah! Didn't read instructions carefully and luckily Ms. Tan hinted to me that the colour change was not supposed to be colourless. Heng ah! If not will screw up whole SPA. Thursday supposed to be nothing much. But got IHC test on friday.

Friday:
Whole class was mugging for IHC test whenever they can. Then Ms. Tan said, "What you all are studying, MAY not come out". Woa, then I was like sianz... But should not be decontextualised case studies. And Sri Lanka conflict will definitely come out. Mrs. Giam already like went through don't know how many Northern Ireland conflict. If come out Northern Ireland, then Sri Lanka conflict might as well not teach. This case is true if a decontextualised case study comes out. Never guess wrong, Sri Lanka conflict came out for the test. Hope can do well for the test.

Ah, Chemistry lesson, Mr. Vincent Tan never come because he is sick. Oh no! Cannot get back Chemistry Test Paper. Ah! Then must wait until next wednesday then can get back le... Sianz..

Saturday & Sunday:
These two days basically slack. Haven't studied for geography test. Sianz, went out to buy camp stuffs for the upcoming camp. Great! Spent most of my time out and watching TV.

Monday:
Combined Sports Meet. Dam slack. Go there sit there stone for about 3 hours and do nothing. High School Council wants us to cheer. Ok. Cheer lor. Want us to win Nanyang Girls? Fat and Slim Hope. How can a guy's voice be much more "powderful" than a female one? Unless, you are gay or sissy... xD. One scream from the female and you can start to get a hearing aid for the rest of your life.

Went to lilong's house for startup. Left at about 3p.m, I guess?

Tuesday:
Today at home got some matters so did not go for start-up meeting. Started only to study for geography at about 4p.m. Die man! Ah! Now, still haven't really studied finished. Ok, got to go and study now. So later can slack and watch TV. And tomorrow night, I will be leaving for Mongolia. So happy!!

I think I will post another entry tomorrow before I leave.
